Panchakarma Packages

Structured 7, 14, and 21-day Panchakarma programmes at Sai Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, KPHB. Every programme is individually designed after a clinical assessment.

Medically reviewed by Sai Ayush Clinical Team

Panchakarma packages at Sai Ayush Ayurveda Hospital in Hyderabad are structured 7, 14, or 21-day programmes combining physician assessment, preparatory therapies, classical purification procedures, dietary management, and post-therapy recovery — all under direct clinical supervision. The right programme is determined by your physician after a detailed consultation, not chosen from a menu.

The Programmes

What Are Panchakarma Packages?

A Panchakarma package is a time-bound programme that brings together all three phases of classical Ayurvedic detoxification — Purva Karma (preparation), Pradhana Karma (purification), and Paschat Karma (recovery) — under a single physician-supervised plan. At Sai Ayush, packages are available in three durations. The physician recommends the appropriate programme after your initial consultation, which includes Nadi Pariksha (pulse diagnosis), Prakriti (constitution) assessment, medical history review, and any indicated laboratory investigations.

Clinical Workflow

How a Panchakarma Package Works

1

Consultation and Assessment

Nadi Pariksha, Prakriti assessment, medical history, current medications, and lab investigations if needed. The physician determines the appropriate programme and procedures.

2

Purva Karma — Preparatory Phase (3–7 days)

Snehapana (medicated ghee), Abhyanga (oil massage), and Swedana (herbal steam) mobilise accumulated Ama for elimination. Diet is controlled throughout.

3

Pradhana Karma — Core Purification

Selected procedures — Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, or Raktamokshana — administered under direct physician supervision. Not all five are used in every programme.

4

Paschat Karma — Recovery and Follow-Up

Samsarjana Krama (graded dietary restoration), supportive herbal formulations, lifestyle guidance, and a follow-up consultation to monitor progress and sustain outcomes.

Clinical Caution — Contraindications

Panchakarma packages are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women; children under 12; frail elderly individuals; persons with acute infections, uncontrolled hypertension, active cardiac conditions, severe anaemia, active malignancy, or recent surgery. Disclose all medications at consultation — including blood thinners, steroids, and immunosuppressants. Enrolment is conditional on physician clearance after screening.

Seek Immediate Medical Attention

Panchakarma is not a substitute for emergency care. Go to the nearest emergency department for chest pain, sudden severe headache, difficulty breathing, high fever with altered consciousness, signs of stroke, uncontrolled bleeding, or severe abdominal pain. During any package, inform your physician immediately of persistent vomiting, severe diarrhoea, dizziness, or fainting.

Working Alongside Modern Medicine

Panchakarma packages at Sai Ayush complement — not replace — modern medical care. Our physicians review existing reports, may recommend pre-programme blood investigations, and assess medication timing where needed. Where a condition requires conventional medical priority, we facilitate specialist referrals. This integrated approach is central to the ANP³ care model.

Sai Ayush Ayurveda Hospital, KPHB operates an integrated ANP³ care model combining Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Physiotherapy. Panchakarma packages are part of a structured clinical programme under physician supervision — not a standalone wellness offering. Both outpatient and inpatient options are available.
